How to Reach IFTA 2024 Annual Conference Venue

There are two international airports on Hainan Island: Haikou Meilan International Airport [HAK] and Sanya Phoenix International Airport [SYX]. If participants opt for a direct flight, these airports will serve as your destination. Subsequently, it takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours by car from both airports to reach the venue. Please note that the venue’s location differs from that of the hotel.

If participants arrive at Haikou Meilan International Airport [HAK], the preparatory committee will provide a pickup service only if participants provide their flight information to cidtaa@163.com.

For participants preferring an airport closer to the venue or hotel, Qionghai Boao Airport offers an alternative. Participants can opt for a connecting flight within China.

Hainan Island Visa Policy

Starting from February 9, 2024, the Visa-Free countries for entry into Hainan include Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Monaco and Belarus. Personnel from above countries are required to enter Hainan without a visa for no more than 30 days due to business, visits, family visits, medical treatment, exhibitions, sports competitions, etc. (excluding work and study reasons). The prerequisite is a direct flight to Hainan or a stopover in non-Mainland China, such as Singapore, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, or Macau, etc.
